Task Gaming.
Task management that works like a workout app: timer, pace, streaks and a leaderboard.

The problem
Missing metrics
A to-do list does not tell you how long anything took, and it gives nobody a reason to finish on time. A team lead wants to see who is working on what right now and recognize who delivers, without a timesheet.
What I built
I built the app and the code is open. The player has start, pause, resume and finish. Points feed levels, daily streaks and the team leaderboard, and repeatable challenges keep a record to beat. Tasks live on a drag-and-drop kanban, on a schedule with dependencies and in a pool anyone on the team can pull from. The team lead validates the points.
Technical decisions
01Scores are calculated on the server
The timer shows in the browser, but the points come from the server: a bonus for finishing within the target, a deduction for running over or pausing too much. Tampering with the browser clock earns nothing.
02Each company in its own space
The app is multi-tenant, with authentication through Better Auth. Tasks, challenges and rankings belong to a tenant, and a signed-in user only sees their own.
03A schedule with dependencies
A task can depend on another, and the schedule draws that link. You can see what is blocking what before anyone starts at the wrong end.
