Privacy.
I measure visits to this site to learn what works and who finds it. Here is what is collected and what is left out.
What is collected
Pages viewed, where you came from (the referring site and links with ?ref= or UTM tags), clicks on contact links, language switches and interaction with the 3D models. Also your device type, browser and an anonymous recording of how you move through the page (clicks and scrolling). None of it includes your name, email or phone number.
No tracking cookies
The site sets no cookies. The analytics tool, PostHog, hosted in the European Union, keeps a random ID in the tab’s storage (sessionStorage), which disappears when you close the tab. Coming back on another day counts as a new visitor.
Your network and your IP
On the first page of each visit, the site’s server asks IPinfo which network your IP belongs to and looks up the approximate city in a DB-IP database kept on the server itself. If the network belongs to a company, I record the organization name, domain, city and country. Internet providers, mobile carriers and clouds only show up as a network type. The IP is never stored and never reaches the analytics tool, which is also set to discard it. To avoid repeating the lookup, the server keeps a hash of the IP in memory for 30 minutes, and the hash cannot be turned back into the IP.
Legal basis
Legitimate interest (article 7, IX of Brazil’s LGPD): understanding how the site is used and which companies were interested in my work, without identifying people. A tracker blocker in your browser turns collection off without breaking the site.
